About us
We are Ginger Garlic. We aim to provide our customer with a range of Indian meals cooked in a authentic homestyle fashion which are delivered to their door.

Terms & Conditions from {December} 2020.

1. Signing Up/Registration
By signing up to our website and purchasing products from Ginger Garlic, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of sale, which apply to all transactions on www.home-x.com Signing up to the service means we must have the following information:

– Your address, including the postcode of the billing address associated with the payment card.
– Your home telephone number
– Your email address, so we can supply you with important information such as your order confirmation and changes to the Ginger Garlic Delivery Service.

Ginger Garlic only sells goods on our website to the end user and they should not, in any way, be resold without our prior written consent. There shall be two stages of order confirmation. The first shall be the ‘on screen confirmation’ immediately after the payment has been received, and the second shall be an email to confirm your full order details. Woocommerce will give you the option to save your payment details but you can opt out of this. It is your responsibility to keep your password secure.

2. Service
We provide home delivery services to anyone over 18 residing within the following parts of the United Kingdom: Mainland Scotland (with exclusion of Scottish islands ) England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

3. About You
You will reside in the UK and over 18 years of age and you have capacity to enter into a contract with us.

4. Our Products
The product will comprise of a pre prepared multiple course meal which may or may not involve further at home preparation in accordance with cooking guidelines provided per product. A 750ml bottle of wine will also be provided.


You will be responsible for the preparation of the food products. We will provide you with the cooking guidelines. All allergens will be included but you are ultimately responsible for checking the packaging.

5. Prices
The price of goods charged shall be as quoted on the web site at the time you confirm your order with us. Excluding any inadvertent technical error on pricing, we will honour any prices as published at the time of placing your order. Your credit or debt card shall only be charged for items dispatched to you. Due to differing product promotions the prices displayed on the website may vary. If you order a product and it is not available then we will endeavour to supply a suitable alternative.


6. Vouchers
Our product promotions are available to all and are accessible from the homepage. They maybe applied automatically when you add the correct items into your basket where they will be highlighted as a promotion for you to check or they may require a discount code to be used. Product promotions that are live on the website are compulsory if you add the correct combination into your basket.

Online vouchers may be sent to you if you opt in for correspondence via email. You shall be given a unique voucher code to enable you to take advantage of any promotion we offer. Please check your voucher expiry dates as they may have a time limit and we do want you to have the opportunity to use them. Most voucher codes will not be valid for use in conjunction with other offers, or on top of product promotions or discounted items. If there is a minimum spend for the voucher to apply, the minimum spend amount must be in addition to any promotions, meal deals, multi-buys or other discounted items. Each voucher code may be used only once per household and Ginger Garlic reserves the right to refuse a sale if it feels that fraud is suspected. Different households may receive different offers. The full terms and conditions printed on the voucher apply in addition to these terms so please check before purchasing.

Please note that on home delivery orders, if a discount voucher code takes the order below the minimum order value threshold you will need to add additional products to your basket to reach this threshold. The same applies to the free delivery threshold – if your voucher takes you below this, you will need to either pay the appropriate delivery charge, or add additional products to get free delivery again.

If the voucher code or promotion has not been successfully applied and the order completed within the specified time frame we are not obliged to re-issue a voucher code or apply the discount retrospectively.

7. E-Gift Cards/Gift Cards and Discounts
Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards are redeemable within expiry date for orders placed at Ginger Garlic for Home Delivery.

Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.

Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards can be used towards purchases at a higher price than its face value upon payment of the difference.

Ginger Garlic is under no liability for replacement or refund should Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whether they have been redeemed or not, furthermore we reserve the right to refuse any gift cards which have been mutilated, damaged or defaced.

8. Delivery
Deliveries are carried out by our own fleet of delivery drivers.

9. Cancelation
Incorporate Refund Policy when finalized.

10. Returns
As our Products contain fresh and perishable food, you are not entitled to the regular rights of consumers to ‘return goods within 14 days’ after you receive them.

There is an exemption pursuant to regulation 27(1)(c) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Deactivation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, that confirms that contracts for the supply of goods are exempt from the right to withdrawal if those goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

This does not affect your right to cancel your order in line with the details set out above.

11. Refunds
We’re sorry you would like a refund, if you are unhappy with your box for a legitimate reason such as: the box was missing dishes, the box was damaged or the box did not arrive, we will offer an appropriate refund as long as it can be shown that the box you were charged for was not supplied as it should have been.

Batch code details and photographic evidence of damaged goods may be required before replacement goods or refunds can be arranged.

Refunds will be made in the same manner as the payment was received.

We cannot be held responsible for parcels which are not delivered due to incorrect information given by the customer.

If we cannot make contact with the recipient or the customer, through no fault of our own or the customer does not contact us, we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery if we have tried all possible methods to fulfil the order and regrettably a refund/replacement cannot be given. Any remedy will be discretionary. This does not affect your statutory rights.

I still haven’t received my refund, what do I do?
Firstly, we appreciate your patience! We would like to note that all refunds can take up to 14 working days. If you are waiting longer than 14 working days since your refund was confirmed by our team, then please e-mail notifying us of this so we can check the status of this for you.

Can I get a refund on a pre-order that I haven’t received?
You can get a full refund up to 14 days before your confirmed delivery date.

12. Age Verification
It is against the law for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor or for any person over the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor for any person under the age of 18.

Ginger Garlic is committed to upholding its legal and social obligations as a retailer of intoxicating liquor. By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are 18 or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.

You will be asked to verify your age by providing your date of birth. This information will be requested when you sign up to online marketing and again when processing a purchase at the checkout stage. If you can not verify that you are over 18 at this stage your order will not be processed.
